Sue is truly a mixed media Artist preferring to use a combination of  textiles, paint, stitch, dyes, papers and fabrics as her chosen media and in some instances incorporating recycled plastics. She is passionate about textiles of any description and has experimented with a number of techniques, including coating fabrics in resin to enable her textile sculptures to be displayed outside.

Sue loves watching and drawing/stitching birds, in the garden, forest and shoreline, both at home and abroad. Her visits to the coastline always inspire her to create seascapes more often than not in an abstract format.
