Having studied Textiles Design in the early eighties, Sue is now a student again and has just begun her second year of Art Therapy training (part time) at Roehampton University. She enjoys using a wide variety of art media including acrylic, pastel and watercolour as well as incorporating collage and stitch into her work.
Inspiration often comes from noticing familiar objects, situations and places in new ways; seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary and observing the contrasts of natural and man made forms and textures.
Sue has enjoyed rediscovering textiles recently and the challenge of working to themed exhibitions. She also participated with others in this year’s where she lives and works part time.
