About Visual Marks

Now in our 10th year, Visual Marks was co-founded by Wendy Fleckner and Elizabeth Saunders in the Autumn of 2013, bringing together a group of Textile Artists from diverse backgrounds but who held a common bond of stitched textiles and mixed media.

Our group members have both formal qualifications and many years of experience as textile artists. It is the group’s philosophy to share research and practical skills, in order that members may progress and develop their work.

Incorporating both 2D and 3D work, we aim to create a number of varied and exciting exhibitions each year. Artist’s work may be drawn from either a personal and/or a group perspective but always interpreted in their own unique style.
