Artist Statement
Elizabeth is a Textile Artist who works with paint, print, collage and stitch within her work.

Elizabeth has exhibited her work within galleries and in National shows. Continuing to be influenced by historic and contemporary artists she finds motivating people about textiles exciting and rewarding.

Her work is often inspired by a narrative of her own memories and journeys through life. The expression of imagination, fragility, motivation, experience and determination unfold within her work aiming to make the invisible memories-visible.

Elizabeth uses a variety of mixed media within her Exhibition pieces. Her miniature works of Art and Sketchbooks have been created from her own drawings.

Elizabeth is a Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen. She is qualified with an MA Textile Design (Merit) BA (Hons)Textile Art – WSA, Southampton University and in her nursing career with MA (Ed) and BNS(Hons)Southampton University.
